1. About Our Service
GetNotary.in is a private document facilitation and consulting service. We assist individuals and businesses in obtaining apostilles, notarizations, and related document authentication services from United States authorities.
We are NOT a government agency and are NOT affiliated with any U.S. Secretary of State office, the U.S. Department of State, or any Indian government authority. All apostilles are issued by the relevant U.S. state authority; we facilitate the process on your behalf.
2. Services Offered
- Document apostille facilitation (all US states)
- Remote Online Notarization (RON) coordination
- Document procurement from US state authorities
- Express courier/shipping to India
- Document verification and eligibility assessment
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices quoted are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless stated otherwise
- Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date of issuance
- Payment is required in advance before processing begins
- State fees, courier charges, and applicable taxes are included in quoted prices unless explicitly stated otherwise
- Rush/expedited service fees are non-refundable once processing has begun
4. Processing Times
Estimated processing times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to:
- State authority processing backlogs
- Document issues requiring correction
- Courier/shipping delays
- Public holidays in the US or India
We will communicate any anticipated delays promptly.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Providing accurate and complete information about documents
- Ensuring documents are genuine and legally obtained
- Responding to queries and providing additional information when requested
- Providing correct shipping address for courier delivery
6. Refund Policy
- Full refund if we determine the document is not eligible for apostille before processing begins
- No refund once the document has been submitted to the state authority
- Courier fees are non-refundable once shipment has been dispatched
- If the state authority rejects an apostille application for reasons within our control, we will reprocess at no additional charge
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service. We are not liable for:
- Rejection of apostilled documents by third parties (banks, courts, authorities)
- Delays caused by government authorities
- Loss or damage during courier transit (covered by courier insurance)
- Consequential damages arising from delayed or rejected documents
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website (text, images, design, code) is the property of GetNotary.in and may not be reproduced without written permission.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
